Local Focus: Empty a Bowl, Fill a Bowl

Milwaukee Empty Bowls
15th Annual Fundraising Event
Sunday, October 6, 2013
12-4 pm
Kern Center - Milwaukee School of Engineering
1245 N. Broadway, Milwaukee
How It Works:
Select from over 2,000 original handcrafted bowls, sample delicious soups and breads from over 50 local chefs while listening to live music. Proceeds from your donation ($20 minimum per bowl including the Grab Bag Express, four bowl limit per person and $10 Kids' Bowls, no limit) will benefit food pantries and meal programs in the greater Milwaukee area. The Grab Bag Express allows you to enter a “fast track” line in which you can purchase a bowl, but it has been selected for you. The bowls are to be taken home as a reminder that someone's bowl is always empty.

May 11...Double Vegan Crazyfabulousness!

Virtual Vegan Potluck!
"Way back in April of 2012, a crazy idea was born out of the enjoyment I got out of connecting with other food bloggers – especially vegan food bloggers – and getting to know them and their food through their writing and recipes...Why not pick a day, make a dish and “bring” it to a party held on the Internet?
Much to my surprise and delight, the response was overwhelming. The enthusiasm began with that very first post of mine and continues to this day." -- Annie

The best vegan bloggers presenting superdelicious feasts?
You bet I'll be there...yumza!
