For National Dessert Month I polled my friends for their favorite dessert...cake mightily rocketzoomed to the top over cookies, brownies and pie so today's a cake celebrating day and Celine is our star baker! I'm certain that when Celine was born she was kissed on the forehead by a Fanciful Flour Fairy or her parents hid a spellbound spatula under her bed or something mystical happened with vanilla beans and golden egglaying hens...whatever it was she's got some marvelous magic mojo going on when it comes to yumful baking and sublime picturetaking and fabulous cookbookmaking!

I was fortunate enough to win a beautiful copy of Celine's "Vegan Finger Foods" from Janet at tastespace...so far the Frittata Minis and the Better Buckeyes have become my new dinnerplate addictions. You can find the Buckeye recipe online here...but first, let us eat cake!  :)
