Yum-Mo-lisciousness

February 8th is Molasses Bar Day! And it turns out this sticky sweet staple can actually be good for you! Look for the blackstrap variety, preferably organic and Fair Trade.  :)
After yesterday's Giant Snow Dumpapalooza, today is a perfect day to make this get-up-and-go treat!

At Outpost...CLIF bars, and their Chocolate Chip Oatmeal, Walnut Raisin and Iced Gingerbread contain molasses.  :)

And East Side Ovens makes wicked vegan Molasses Cookies!

I'm not a fan of dried cherries or cranberries and since you can add or sub what you want, I'd sub in dried blueberries and chopped dried figs...maybe add chia seeds too!
What would you do?
