Welcome Vegan MoFo 2013!

Vegan MoFo is a month-long celebration of all things vegan, inviting vegan bloggers across the planet to post their most darling, most daring and most deliriously delicious dishes for all the world to share. I'm so happy it's in September this year...the farmers' markets are still in full swing and the weather is cooling off just enough to start a mad crazy baking frenzy that is perfect practice for the holidays. I'm so grateful too for all the generous-hearted vegans out there who share their triumphs and tragedies in the kitchen, along with their superamazing recipes. Like a bull in a china shop, I'm a drunken monkey in the kitchen...lots of playful energy that occasionally ends up in an edible mess. I need all the help I can get.  ;)
While I'm not an official MoFo blogger, I'll try posting everyday, veganizing traditional food holidays with links to yumful recipes. First up...

September is National Breakfast Month!
Rev up your day the vegan way! Don't skip breakfast...even if you're running late, grab a bagel with peanut butter or a banana and a bag of dry vegan cereal or even just a swig of soy milk and a handful of nuts. A Healthy Vegan is a Happy Vegan!  :)

If you have the time, scramble something scrumptious!
