Pubs: The Vegan Divas Cookbook
Fernanda is a vegan pastry professional, rising from Rio where she got her start running the Payard Restaurant and Pastry Shops. Currently you can catch her creating gourmet vegan treats, catering, and meeting and greeting in her beautiful NYC bakery boutique. She also advocates for healthier meals in public schools and spreads vegan love through public events. Her cookbook is filled with all sorts of diva-licous desserts but don't miss the basics, brunches, sandwiches and snacks and the delectable Diva Mac and “Cheese” :)
Fernanda is also married to Francois Payard, worshipped around the world for his elegantly refined desserts. Aside from the fact that he is definitely not vegan (yet...there's always hope!), can you imagine the conversations these two supertalented chefs might have, bouncing bakery ideas back and forth? With Fernanda's "anything you can do, I can do better" attitude, I expect to see many more decadent vegan Diva delights in the future! ;)
