Happy National Doughnut Day!

Homer, we love you...but we do not love your lardy ways.
Please let little Lisa in the kitchen so she can teach you the Way of the Vegan Donut. Goopy glaze and all.  :)

What do you like on your doughnuts? Can you eat just one? Do you have any vegan doughnut bakeries in your town? Who makes the best vegan doughnuts?

And how do you spell it...donut or doughnut?  ;)

  1. Doughnuts used to be one of my very favorite foods. I've never been into cake doughnuts, and unfortunately, those seem to be more readily available in vegan forms. Every once in a blue moon I'll find a raised yeast doughnut that's vegan, but it's often years in between! My top two favorite locations for vegan doughnuts would be Ronald's in Vegas or VooDoo in Portland!

    1. Maple Spice and Spice Island Vegan have crazydelish yeast doughnut recipes with lots of fill and glaze options. Your Voodoo Doughnut post is making my tum rumble! :)
