Pi what? Let me explain...Math Geeks + any excuse to have dessert = Pie-o-licious Pi Day! ;)
Yesterday we featured Isa...today we feature her Partner in Pies, Terry! Terry and Isa wrote several books together including Vegan Pie in the Sky but just like Isa, Terry has a style all her own. She grew up in one of New England's Polish neighborhoods in a Spanish-speaking Venezuelan/Polish family...got that straight? Later on she moved to NYC where she plunged into that multi-ethnic stew of cultures including plenty of Latino flavors. A big success in The Big Apple, Terry masterfully swirls cuisines together as she develops boldly borderbusting recipes, writes richly delicious cookbooks, creates videos and classes and demos, and devotes a boatload of time to helping animals. You'd think she'd have no time for whipping up fabulous pies but ohgoodgolly she does...savory and sweet and spicy too!
More pleasures of pie from The Peace Patch!
Did you grow up on one cuisine or did you get to taste different world flavors? What's your favorite kind of pie, sweet or savory? How are you celebrating Pi Day? Are you a secret math geek? ;)

I totally wasn't prepared for Pi Day, but my favorite pie is Frito Pie! All the way.
