Perfect weather for a wicked hot pepper pot! A pepper pot is a Caribbean-born soup or stew with lots of hot peppers, veggies and spices...and a choice of beans or tofu for us lucky vegans. Go crazy and use Appaloosa Beans or Black Turtle Beans or even Jackson Wonder Beans! :)

Do you like your stews hot and spicy? Are you planning for the spring planting season? Have you been to the Caribbean? Would you like to be there now? :)
A pepper pot sounds just the thing- thanks for sharing these recipes, and happy New Year :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! Hope your 2014 is full of good cheer and lots of yumful pots of things! :)
DeleteI absolutely love stews and soups! The spicier the better! I've never been to the Caribbean but boy that would be a trip of a lifetime now wouldn't it. The Black-eyed Pea Pepper Pot and Vegan Cornbread looks wonderful. I love my food highly seasoned so I might just try this recipe. Happy and Blessed New Year!
