Happy Ho Ho Ho Hummus Day! :)

Celebrate the joys of hummus...one of the greatest inventions in vegan history!

Hummus rocks my heart for many reasons...
~ It was the first vegan recipe I pasted in my recipe scrapbook a zillion eons ago...thank you K for showing me the chickpea magic.  :)
~ It's endlessly evolving. Every time I turn around another screamin' genius has put a delicious new spin on it.
~ It's ridiculously quick and easy...the Peace Patch fridge is never without it!

Slap it on a waffle for a fast filling breakfast, layer it on a bagel sandwich for lunch, paste it on a pizza for dinner or serve it with a side of veggies or chips for a quick party dip! Hummus rules my happy world!

    1. Your beautiful Beetroot Hummus Hearts are on my list of Valentine's day treats to make this year...I might try multicolors with carrot hummus hearts and maybe delicata squash hummus hearts too.
      Cheers! :)

  2. I agree, hummus is one of the greatest inventions vegan history! I have several tubs of hummus at the moment, and they are my favorite staples to have around in Paris. They are creamy, not thick or chunky, but just creamy like tahini. The first photo looked like a favorite! Wishing you a fabulous 2014, thank you so much for sharing all these food & ingredients holidays! I look forward to learning and seeing more of them this year!
