Brazil nuts are a yumfully natural nut with a different twist. They're not harvested like other nuts, which are most often grown on farms. Brazil nuts can only reproduce with the help of orchid bees so Brazil nut trees can only grow in forests where these orchids are found. Harvesting is done by hand, providing jobs and boosting the local economy...yay! The high fat content of Brazil nuts makes them perfect for baking into sweet treats, mixing into nut burgers and topping off casseroles...and covering with chocolate too! :)

Have you tried Brazil nuts? Do you like nuts mixed into cooked and baked things, or just eaten out of the shell? What's your favorite way to crack a nut?
