Happy Adzuki Bean Day!

Blogger of the Day: Anne-Kristin ("A-K") at swell vegan
Pubs: "swell" cookzine series

Adzuki beans (aka Aduki or Azuki beans) are a fun changeup from the old standbys black beans and kidney beans. They're commonly used in Japanese cuisine, often in desserts because of their slightly sweeter taste. A-K's take on the Adzuki is a deliciously savory sesame-sprinkled burger...a fabulous start if you'd like to work your way through the bountiful bean family from A to Z!  :)

Do you cook or bake with adzuki beans? What other kinds of unusual beans have you tried? What are your favorite bean burger recipes?  :)
